1929年東京都に生まれる。大阪音楽学校（現・大阪音楽大学）、大阪市立美術研究所で学ぶ。1957年グループDELTA結成に参加（1961年の解散まで）。1962年抽象作家集団テムポ結成に参加。1965年具体美術協会会員となる。（1968年退会）。1986年没。ー 『「具体」ー ニッポンの前衛 18年の軌跡』展（2012年、国立新美術館、東京）図録より引用
Born in Tokyo in 1929. Studied at the Osaka School of Music (presently, Osaka Collage of Music) and the Osaka Municipal Institute of Art. Helped form the Group Delta in 1957 (involved until the group's dissolution in 1961). Helped form the group Tempo in 1962. Became a member of Gutai Art Association in 1965 (withdrew in 1968).
